Probably around 1968 or 69, my band The Dorians was being played by CKLW. It was a very exciting time. I’m still recording and producing, although much better at it now. Currently, I’m preparing a CD by Southfield Michigan’s own Melodie Cox. A fine songwriter with Grammy entries written by her and me for the last 5 years, she is a beautiful singer with an angelic voice that draws the listener in. Coming soon!
Please help me find a song I’ve been searching for four decades. Or point me in the direction of someone who can help. The lyrics I remember and I’m from a partial recording I have I believe from CLW am around 1970 go like this: even though he was an old man and the years had made him weak / as a tear trickled down his cheek / he said you must do the things in life I’ve failed to do
