DICK PURTAN, WXYZ RADIO, 1971 

The legendary Detroit radio morning man was on WXYZ 1270 from 1968 through 1978. After 45-years of broadcasting radio in the Motor City, Purtan retired in March, 2010. Today you can still listen to him “on the air,” on his website anytime at dickpurtan.com.
