Hello, Jo-Jo Shutty MacGregor here. Just a quick note about the CKLW Charity Tribute event happening today, Saturday, July 14, as we also will reflect back on the 51th Anniversary of the BIG 8 Format here in the Motor City, and the launch of Charlie O’Brien’s big8radio.com

Detroit radio history records back when it was spring/summer 1967 when the Big 8 debuted on CKLW.

Another year since having passed, once again we are delighted to inform you the VFW Bruce Post 1146 will be holding a FREE party at their lodge and property at 28404 Jefferson Avenue in St. Clair Shores, MI –- GOING ON TODAY — July 14 — from 12 NOON – 6:00 pm.

All proceeds from food and raffles in this event will go to Ronald McDonald Charities of Detroit.
